He has all kinds of shots – reverse sweep, slog sweep, everything – but the problem is that all these shots are very risky.’ Ravichandran Ashwin said, ‘We have to tell him exactly what he has to do if he has to bat solidly or bat with some intention. He has not scored a lot of runs, but it is also not that he has not scored runs. He still has a lot of time.’ Ravichandran Ashwin further said, “The main issue is to maintain balance. If he is able to do this, then he can score a century in every match. He will have to find a middle path. Pant played two innings of contrasting styles in the Sydney Test.
